Join us for a chat with freeride mountain biker and all-round legend Vero Sandler.

From the volcanoes of New Zealand to the mountains of Wales, and from World Cup Downhill racing to freeride stardom, Vero shares her story and her journey.

We chat about how she got into cycling in the first place, and what prompted the switch from DH to freeride. She explains how she developed her jump skills and how she manages fear, plus what it’s like to be a professional mountain biker.

She also shares what it was like to be involved in Red Bull Formation, a women’s freeride event and camp in Utah at the site of a former round of the Red Bull Rampage, and what it was like riding on those crazy, extreme tracks.

And of course we have to talk about Vision, the female-led freeride film she stars in, and her role in the development of the accompanying Vision line at Revolution Bike Park.

Giving back

Every episode, I ask each guest to name a charity or cause that’s close to their heart - so show them some love!
This week, Vero chose the Nuture Nature garden, a therapeutic garden run by Helena Davies. It offers paliative care for those suffering from mental and physical health issues, as well as courses and activities. Pop over to Instagram, give her a follow and lets spread some positivity.
