Spindrift Photography
Phil Hall is the main Spindrift photographer, and he loves taking a creative approach to shooting landscapes, sports, adventure and more.
From portraiture to environmental shots, race photography to product imagery, and from adventure to action, he loves to capture the essence of a story in his images. His photos have been featured in numerous magazines and websites, including MBUK Magazine, BikeRadar, Volata Magazine and Mountainbike Magazin in Germany.
UCI Cycling World Championships 2023 at Glentress
While Spindrift Podcast host Aoife Glass was on the in-venue MC team, Phil Hall roamed the race venue for the duration of the cross-country mountain bike World Championship events in Glentress Forest in the Tweed Valley, Scotland. Five days of epic racing saw the world’s best cross-country mountain bikers descend on the valley, pitting their stamina and skill against one another and a technical race track. His photos capture the spirit of the occasion, with incredible racing, an electric atmosphere, great fan support, and some of the biggest names in XC (and road) in action, including Evie Richards, Tom Pidcock, Sam Gaze, Puck Pieterse, Pauline Ferrand-Prévot, Peter Sagan and more.
